About the Author

Welcome Everyone!

whitney-award-4I hope you enjoy my debut novel, In the Hands of the Gadiantons. It was really fun to reimagine the Book of Mormon from the Lamanite’s perspective during the time of the Savior’s birth. I’m thrilled that the book has been nominated for a Whitney Award!

I’m excited that LDSLiving has published several articles I’ve written including: 5 Things the Lamanites Got RightA Psychologist’s Insights into 5 Book of Mormon Prophets, What We’ve Been Getting Wrong About the 3 Nephites, and The Difficult Decision Between Honoring My Parents and Serving a Mission.

Currently, I’m finishing up my next novel, a psychological thriller about five individuals in a therapy group who become haunted by the same recurring nightmare. Has Dr. Ingram’s adversarial ex-colleague infiltrated the group with his experiments, or is there something more ancient and sinister twisting everyone’s mind? Look for it to be released in 2020.

A little about me…

I grew up in a quiet country town a few miles north of the Great Salt Lake. I love the unique story of each individual I meet. This led me to a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and ultimately a career as a psychologist at a University. Eventually my passion for delving into the complexities of human life filled the pages of my novels. My books are intended to capture my insights about human nature, relationships, and the poignant challenges of mortality and beyond.

I would love to hear your feedback on, In the Hands of the Gadiantons! You can comment on my Author Facebook Page or email me at cameronstaleybooks@gmail.com

  1. I was fascinated by your novel In the Hands of the Gadiantons. I hope I can buy a copy of that. I enjoyed reading it even only the first chapter of it.
